NFI North has been providing key services for children, youth and families within New Hampshire since 1990. Over the past fifteen years the organization has continually worked to develop small community based services, designed to meet the individual psychological, emotional, behavioral, and educational needs of youth and families within the great State of New Hampshire. Services provided by NFI North within New Hampshire include professional staff development, accompanied transportation, in home services, therapeutic foster care, residential care, and special education services for grades 6 through 12. The organization’s programs and services work in a systemic manner building on the family’s strengths in order to effectively address the challenges that confront them. Through this process individuals who participate in our services develop skills, which support greater self-sufficiency and capacity for success within their family and community. NFI North prides itself on the high quality services found within the organization. The organization’s programs and services are licensed and certified by the various state regulatory entities and each service participates in an ongoing quality enhancement process. This culture of quality also extends to the caliber of staff found within the Agency. NFI staff are high quality professionals who share the organization’s vision for the delivery of key community based services. Program and Agency staff are credentialed and trained in accordance with state, federal and professional licensing standards. The organization maintains a dynamic in-service training program that involves an intensive core curriculum and includes an agency-wide two day conference.
